WEB 2.0

Web 2.0 is the term used to describe a range of websites and apps that allow everyone to share and create information or material they have generated online. A key aspect of technology is that it enables individuals to develop, upload, interact and connect with each other. Web 2.0 differs from other website styles because it does not require participation in any web design or publishing skills, making it easy for individuals to build and distribute or communicate their work to the world.

The nature of this technology makes it a simple and common way for either a small group of people or a much broader audience to communicate. These methods are widely used by the university to communicate with students, workers and the broader academic community. It can also be an efficient way of engaging with students and research colleagues.
